GIS Technician
Jade joined Dougan & Associates in the fall of 2022 and has a background in both GIS and ecology. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Geographic Analysis from Toronto Metropolitan University then went on to complete the Ecosystem Management Technician program at Fleming College. Continuing at Fleming College, she also completed the graduate certificate program in GIS Applications.
Jade brings technical experience with spatial data editing and management, cartography, and spatial analysis gained through her education and roles as student GIS support. Through her education and roles as a Conservation Technician, she has also gained field experience conducting data collection, plant and wildlife identification, and surveying, including Species at Risk and Ecological Land Classification (ELC).
